Privacy Policy

1. Our Privacy Philosophy
Mylthorix believes in privacy by design. We don't collect data because we want to build profiles or sell information. We collect as little as possible and only what's necessary for the platform to function. This policy explains exactly what we do with any information related to your use of our service.
2. What We Actually Collect
The short answer: almost nothing. When you use Mylthorix, we may receive basic technical information that web browsers automatically provide—things like your browser type, device type, and approximate location based on IP address. Your age verification response is stored locally in your browser's localStorage, not on our servers. We don't collect your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifiable information.
3. Why We Handle Any Information at All
The minimal information we handle serves one purpose: making the platform work. We use localStorage in your browser to remember that you've completed age verification so you don't have to do it every single time you visit. That's it. We don't use your data for marketing, we don't build user profiles, and we don't track your behavior across the web.
4. Where Your Data Actually Lives
Most of your "data" with Mylthorix lives in your own browser through localStorage. Your age verification status stays on your device. It doesn't get transmitted to our servers or anyone else's. You control this data completely—clear your browser's localStorage and it's gone. This approach means you maintain control over your information.
5. How We Protect Information
We implement reasonable security measures appropriate for a platform of our nature. Since we collect minimal information and store most of it on your device rather than our servers, there's less to protect. However, we take security seriously and use industry-standard practices to protect our platform's integrity.
6. External Services We Use
Mylthorix uses Google Fonts to display our typography. When you visit our site, your browser makes requests to Google's servers to load these fonts. That's essentially our only third-party integration. We don't use analytics platforms that track personal information, we don't integrate with advertising networks, and we don't employ social media tracking pixels.
7. We Don't Sell or Share Your Data
This should be obvious given that we barely collect any data in the first place, but let's be explicit: Mylthorix does not sell, rent, trade, or share user information with third parties. We don't participate in data brokering. We don't have advertising partners who want your information. Your privacy is not for sale.
8. Your Control Over Data
Since we primarily use browser-based localStorage, you have direct control. Want to delete your age verification? Clear your browser's localStorage or site data for Mylthorix. Most browsers make this easy through their settings. You can also use private/incognito browsing mode, though you'll need to verify your age each session.
9. Age and Privacy
Mylthorix is not designed for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from minors. If you're under 18, don't use our platform. If we become aware that someone under 18 has accessed our platform, we'll take appropriate steps to prevent future access.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if our practices change or legal requirements evolve. When we make significant updates, we'll change the date at the top of this document. Check back periodically to stay informed. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
11. International Users
Mylthorix is accessible globally. If you access our platform from outside your primary jurisdiction, understand that information may be processed according to the laws where our services are hosted. Given our minimal data collection, this is less of a concern than with data-heavy platforms.
12. Questions About Privacy
If you have questions or concerns about how we handle privacy, contact us through the information provided on our platform. We take privacy inquiries seriously and will respond to legitimate questions in a reasonable timeframe.
